Deciphering the Dynamic Evolution of the Tumor-Immune Interface

Project 2 – Stefani Spranger, MIT and Forest White, MIT

Project 2 – Deciphering the Dynamic Evolution of the Tumor-Immune Interface (Spranger, White, Michor) is co-led by Drs. Spranger and White. Dr. Spranger is a trained immunologist with expertise in T cells and dendritic cells, focusing on immunosuppression in the tumor-immune interface; Dr. White brings expertise in the analysis of signaling networks in brain tumors as well as analysis of MHC peptides from in vitro and in vivo samples, including tumor-specific peptides. This project will focus on quantifying the dynamic evolution of tumor and immune cells in multiple systems ranging from simple in vitro co-culture systems to more complex in vivo syngeneic and GEMM tumors, evaluating the contributions of different immune cells to the evolution of the tumor immune interface.
